A kind of monography
Though I was almost done with the paintigs last week, I still had a lot to do before I consider the exhibition ready.
On the picture on the right, the lights ars off cause it’s not correctly directed yet.
On the right you have a glimpse of the small Ninouches displayed with a larger one on the top. I had to repair 2 made of wax that got dammaged in the transportation.
At the center of the space, are now the large tables that used to mask the scale 1 sculptures I set outside. My partner gave me several good ideas such as using the 2 other structure to enhance the pieces.
Setting my photographs was also very time consuming. Though I created an extra white surface hanging leftovers of the paper covering the walls, the 98 woudn’t fit in the room. I rearranged the series with 86 pieces, have a look :
There’s a clue in the first picture showing that cleanning up was also on the to do list.
The openning of the exhibitions was on saturday night. I had a long talk with Jérôme Ragot who’s exhibition was set much earlier without requiering so much time, so we didn’t have the opportunity po properly meet beforehand. I was told since that visitors didn’t dare joining our conversation or interrupting it. I hope other occasions will come up before the end of the month.
Have a good week !
